Over 52% of Medicare beneficiaries are reporting difficulty accessing home medical equipment, services, and supplies as result of the flawed Competitive Bidding Program according to a new report by Dobson DaVanzo. The program, which drastically reduced funding for medical equipment by 50‐80% in rural areas, needs immediate action to protect those who rely on medical equipment to maintain independence at home.
